Kozhukattai is one of the traditional recipe during Ganesh chaturthi. Iam not too fond of sweet kozhukattais. This is the very easy kozhukattai and you can make anytime in the home. They are very easy to make. 

Boiled rice - 1 cup 
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp 
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp 
Dry red chillies - 2 
Hing - a pinch
Salt to taste

Wash and soak the rice in water for 1 hour. 
Drain well and grind coarsely with water.
Heat oil in a kadai add mustard seeds and hing. When the mustard seeds start to splutter add urad dal, dry red chillies, salt and the ground rice.
Cook for 3-5 min in low flame. cool it little bit.
Take a small amount of dough, and make a round shape small ball and keep aside.
Steam on a greased  idly stand and cook for 10-15 min.
