Salmon is low in calories, yet high in protein. It can be cooked in many different ways. It is very healthy and it contains lots of Omega 3. I have tried this many times and it came out yummy all times. It is one of my hubby favorite. Try it out and let me know your comments....
Salmon - 4-5 slices
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Vadakam - 1 tsp ( optional)
Onion - 1 medium
Tomato - 1 medium
Sambar powder - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
To paste:
Onion - 1/2
Garlic - 2-3 pods
Method:
Grind onion & garlic and make into fine paste and keep aside.
Heat oil add mustard seeds, urad dal, vadakam, onion, onion& garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes off.
Now add sambar powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, tamarind paste, water & salt and keep it in low flame.
After it boils add fish and cook it in low flame for 10-15 min.
Wow.. this is the first time I am hearing about fish with sambar powder.. good one. Thanks for sharing.
