Pesarattu is prepared with whole green gram dal. It is tasty and healthy dish. It is best for breakfast or dinner. This is the traditional breakfast dish of Andhra Pradesh.
Here goes the recipe...
Ingredients:
Whole green gram - 1 cup
Onion - 1 medium
Raw rice - 2-3 tblsp
Ginger - 1 piece
Green chillies - 5-6 (acc to ur spice level)
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Hing - a pinch
Coriander leaves - for garnishing
Salt to taste
Method:
Soak whole green gram & rice through night or 5-6hrs.
Then drain the water and grind it with ginger, green chillies and cumin to a coarse batter.
Now add salt, hing, onion, coriander leaves, water and mix well. Keep it for 5-10 min.
Heat a tava and make like dosas.
Serve with any chutney.
